Yes. SoftFrame® beds have a minimalist "frame-over-box-spring" design and perfectly go over your standard 5" to 9" box spring (required and not included).
If you need a box spring, search your desired box spring height online (search: "9 inch tall high profile box spring"), or they are easily found at your local mattress store for approximately $100.
Yes. Our bed frames can be used directly on the floor over a standard box-spring.

To keep your SoftFrame® Designs bed frames and headboards looking beautiful:
- Vacuum regularly or dust with a soft brush as needed
- Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry, white cloth, do not rub
- If a cleaner is needed, we recommend using an all natural, mild, upholstery cleaner and spot testing in a discrete area
- For large or stubborn stains, we recommend professional upholstery cleaning
- Do not remove fabric cover for cleaning
